Origin Story

In 2017, Jenny and Lucas were talking about how happy they are having a coffee routine that helps with their poops. In this moment, the core idea of Regular Happy was born. From a silly dialogue about the importance of morning poops - it became a metaphor for intentional (consistent) practice for positive change. In the same year, they organized a group of artists for a benefit art show hosted in their living room. It was here that Remo chose Pupu the koala to be our mascot. After a successful show, Regular Happy took on several different formats of experimentation and eventually dormancy without a north star. A lot had to be learned and practiced before the next steps were truly ready to be taken.

In 2023, a pure intention of wanting to throw an art show featuring art and music came about with JC and Lucas. We played music and visuals together with the desire to share it with any of our friends willing to come. For fun, we streamed a couple sessions online and Anthony responded and showed interest in what we were up to. He joined our preparations for the show and everything started to take off at that point. As we met weekly, Arthur and Remo came to check out what we were doing and eventually our whole living room was buzzing with creativity on these nights. Music, lighting, and painting - all vibing together with a feeling that we could achieve anything together. Jenny helped wrangle all of our ideas on one of our last meetings where we went over our run of show. That’s when we knew that feeling was true.

Now we're surfing this journey together and contributing when we can so that we can come together again and create that creative buzz to continuously share with the world.
